Ive been prescribed Duac and doxycycline for my moderate acne and I was just wondering if you can use Duac by itself and not take doxy with it? The side effects look pretty scary and I dont know if I should keep taking it or not.

This is a question for your dermatologist.

However, my own personal view is that I avoid oral antibiotics whenever I can.

Here's the research I've done on antibiotics. It's worth a read.
