I'm starting my 5th month on accutane, and since 2 weeks ago my skin has been somewhat itchy, and extremely itchy during the night when I'm trying to sleep. Mainly random spots on my legs get itchy but the rest of my body gets itchy sometimes too. I'm on 30 mg which I take with the fattiest meal of my day. Does anyone have any tips?
Accutane causes SO many side effects. Itchiness is one of the more common ones. Accutane affects your skin a lot, obviously, and itchiness can be one of the side effects.
If it's severe or concerning at all, run it by your doc for sure.
