I reckon that the the years of taking ******* antibiotics has taken its toll on my skin in terms of healing time for scars and hyperpigmentation. Can antibiotics slow the healing?

Cheers.

Yes it bloody does. Once i finished on minocyline my general bodys healing has slowed down for years now. Once i finished on those antibiotics i had these symptoms: flushed face, dizzy spells, sunburn easily, dry facial skin and slowed healing. The flushed face, dry skin, dizzy spells and sunburn all went away after a year which was good but the wound healing remained. So i am thinking it might be because the anitbiotics cleared away the good bacteria and made way for bad bacteria/infection to take over.
