Hello! I've been on accutane for 5 months now, 20 mg daily I'm 16 and I weigh 49 KGs. I've noticed my face cleared up a lot! I'm only left with hyperpigmentation which I can get fixed after finishing accutane. But I have an issue, I have persistent pimples. One is on my cheek, I had it BEFORE starting accutane and keep in mind, I'm finishing my course of medication mid-may. The one on my cheek never seemed to disappear, it's still there and stubborn and I've never noticed a slight change in it. During my 4th month, a new pimple appeared right next to my nose. It used to be filled with pus but now the pus is gone and it's an angry shade of red that never seem to go away (It did not pop and is still bumpy). I developed another one on my chin this month and it's the exact same kind of pimple as the one next to my nose. I wouldn't have complained if it was small and noticeable, but trust me they're all noticeable and large. I don't know what to do! Do I pop them or put something on them? If someone is going to recommend me asking my dermatologist to increase the dosage, please don't. I'm on 20mg and I suffer severely from the side effects! Increased dosages are going to be a death sentence for me honestly. (I'm sorry for the terrible English, it's not my first language)
