Hey everyone,
New member here. I've been microdosing isotretinoin 20 to 30 mg per week for the last 6 years.
Have been on full dose treatments 3 times earlier in life with the first one in my early twenties.
First had pretty bad acne that later developed into rosacea (although mild).
Skin looks pretty good. Somewhat red on the nose and cheeks. No acne anywhere.
Stopped microdosing for 20 days recently but felt I had to start again when the oliy skin started to return.
Just thought I'd share this together with my bloodwork for anyone that's interested. LDL cholesterol is within range but not optimal.
Some info:
40 year male from Sweden
6 ft
178 lbs
Diet is pretty healthy. I stay away from junk food and get my protein from mostly fish and chicken.
Drink alcohol about once a year.
I go to the gym once a week and lift weights but I also workout at home almost everyday. (full body using dumbbells and doing burpees)
I've had some bouts of depression and had been on mirtazapine for a few years. Stopped taking them about 9 months ago. First few months
were rough feeling very empty and having a total loss of interest in things that I usually would enjoy. Also had insomnia.
Feeling much better today. Probably because of my daily 20 minutes home workouts that I started a few months ago and having less
withdrawal effects from mirtazapine. I got mild tinnitus a couple of years ago. But since it's mild it doesnt really bother me.
Will be happy to answer any questions.

are u balding?
have u noticed any negative effects of isotretinoin on your hair? or the opposite?
isotretinoin is known for potential hair loss but is also known to reduce DHT serum levels in skin drastically which can have positive effects in male pattern baldness(thats inconclusive).
