I have 2 problems :

1- under skin acne bumps mainly on my cheeks
2- rash or discoloration on the cheeks ( same area )

I went to a dermatologist and he prescribed me Doxycycline 200mg/day and Vitamin c . I believe that is for the bumps only right ? it will not solve the pigmentation . I am thinking that I can start using Glycolic Acid cream 5% and then go for the 10% , will be that okay or I should wait until all acne is cleared up ?

I have also been prescribed doxy along with clindamycin. This works for acne.
For hyperpigmentation i will be using kojic acid once a day ( cant wait for so long before they fade ).
I am expecting to see a ckear skin in approx 2 months.

Kojic acid prescribed to you by your doctor ?

It was prescribed by another dermatologist a month ago. It is made up of natural ingredients and therefore wont harm your face. Have been using it for a week now and planning to continue using it.
