I am suffering from cystic acne for past 2 years...my dermatologist suggested me accutane...iam taking on 20mg capsule of accutane twice a day morning nd night...iam taking this medicine for a week ...iam noticing my face is getting very worst...my acne has now becoming more...i heard that the first week of accutane results in worsening of acne...is it?
Yes it does get worse before it gets better, but it can keep getting worse even after 1 month or so, depends on the individual, so be patient and hang in there. Good luck
I don't know why but for some reason my acne cleared instantly with accutane. I was taking 40 mg twice per day
