I started taking Doxycycline for moderate facial acne 3 days ago. I have a bump right behind my earlobe, I'm still not sure if it is cystic acne or a sebaceous cyst. It has become very sore since I started these antibiotics. Is this normal?

I recently started on doxycycline also. Yes it is normal to break out from certain acne medications or topicals. However, if it continues to get worse rather than better within the next few weeks I would consult your doctor.
