1.) Had my bloodwork (including my pregnancy test) done on the 24th.
2.) Appointment with derm to refill prescription was on the 25th. Due to unforeseen circumstances, I missed this appointment.
3.) The earliest possible reschedule that I could get is the 31st, which actually is one day past my 7-day (from the bloodwork) pickup window. In case anybody is thinking that the 24th-31st is actually exactly seven days, I checked my program calendar in the ipledge system and it counts the day of my test. Last month I had my bloodwork done on the 22nd, and my window was from the 22nd-28th.
4.) Appointment lady is still trying to see if she can squeeze me in on the 30th, which would technically work as that is the last day of my window.
5.) HOWEVER the last time I was getting my prescription filled, my pharmacy was out of stock and I had to wait a day. I've called all of my local pharmacies to see if they have claravis in stock and they don't. They cannot order it ahead of time without a new prescription (last month's prescription won't cut it).
So basically the issue is this: Due to the date of my bloodwork and preg test, I won't be able to see my derm for a new prescription until I'm past my 7-day pick up window for my medication. Even if I can get my appointment moved one day earlier, it is highly likely that my pharmacies will not have it in stock and I will have to wait a day, falling outside of my window anyway.
Anyone who's done this ipledge bs, any insights/ideas? I'm thinking that I could leave my derm a voicemail and get a new test requisition form for a blood pregnancy test from quest diagnostics, so that the date of my pregnancy test is later which would move my 7-day window and help me out a lot. Does this sound like a good idea? I've actually done this before; at one of my appointments she forgot to give me a test form for quest so I called and picked it up the same day. The pregnancy test is the one that iPledge cares about, right? Should I just ask for another quest test form for just the pregnancy test so that I can do it again and have a later date in the ipledge system? What do you think?
