So I took accutane 40mg, started in around early December of 2016. It worked AMAZING for me. I saw drastic results within the second month of taking it. I stopped taking it around early April, a few weeks short of what I should've just because of back pains. But that was the only side effect I got from taking it. I loved it & i reccomended it to everyone I was so happy with my results. I was perfectly clear from April until the middle of this August 2017. My acne is suddenly starting to come back. It started with a few bumps on my cheeks that were no problem to cover up or get rid of. But now they just seem to keep coming & getting worst & not going away. I'm also very oily which I never had that problem. I ALSO scar very easily & I have many white spots all over my face. I recently went to my dermatologist earlier this week & he is very against putting me back on accutane. He didn't say why? But he prescribed me to epiduo forte which I've been trying for about 3 days & it seems to be drying me out & making it worst. I want to know if a second round of accutane may help me? It's sad because acne is my worst nightmare & was incredibly happy when I had perfect skin, & now my nightmare is coming back. Should I consider trying another dermatologist to put me back on accutane? Is it worth it? Please help!

Of course it is NOT worth it. Thank god your dermatologist is sensible - you owe him one!
If you did your research you would know that the risks far outweigh the benefits.
Think about your longterm physical and mental well being for gods sake.
