Hello acne.org community!
I'm brand new and honestly come to you in need of some positive reinforcement OR helpful advice.
I've been on Retin-A cream (0.1%, which I believe is the highest intensity?) for a little over two weeks now and honestly, I cannot remember my skin ever looking worse. The initial breakout started at the end of week 1 and continues on. :( I know it takes a while to see results, but i am beyond discouraged.
I did make a mistake during week 1 and slathered WAY too much on because I thought results would be quick/it would dry out active acne. I've DEFINITELY stopped doing that and now just use the recommended pea-sized amount.
I've attached photos. (Non-acneic  dots are clindamycin.) Is there any hope?

So, tl;dr version(skip here for the questions):
1. Has anyone had a similar experience with a crazy IB, waited it out, then had amazing results?
2. Will these scar?! If they do, how on earth will I treat them? My final resort is Accutane if this proves to be fruitless. Does Accutane help with scarring at all?
3. Any similar experiences? Is there hope? ;-;
