Hi, ive just started accutane starting at 20mg but upping to 60mg in stages.

At the moment I am not putting on sunscreen as my main problem is blackheads all over my cheeks and nose and when i apply any cream they just sit in and block my pores which i am trying to purge out with accutane and hopefully they wiull shrink

i only go out after 5pm in bursts of 30min, i usually just go for a jog around the block and wear my hood up and a cap, my skin is getting flaky and pores are purging already its a bit red and inflamed im wondering if i need to start using sunscreen

i also spray my face with distilled water 8-10 times throughout the day to add mopisture and encourage healing so thats another reason why i dont want to apply sticky sunscreen

thanks for help

If you'll ask your derm about it..he/she will probably tell you to put sunscreen even indoors,, but nahh, sunscreens are not that cheap, just use them when you go out.
