I'm about to start taking Lymecycline and my doctor told me to avoid sunlight with it as it could cause redness.

i know this is a stupid question but did she mean literally avoid it with like long sleeves and hats? or just use stronger sun lotion? I ask as I'm going on holiday in a few weeks and am expecting some sun.

Also how bad/severe have the side effects been for you?

Personally I've never really noticed much effect from Lymecycline on sun sensitivity and I'm on a double dose, so I would just say make sure you're applying a very high factor suncream and maybe a add in a sunhat if you do find you're having problems. Hope you have a fun holiday!
