Lymecycline - no period?

Hi. I've been taking Lymecycline for about 6 weeks and everything has been fine, up until i realized my period was late. This never happens so naturally i started to get a little worried, but i figured it happened from time to time for most people so i didn't think more of it. But now it has been almost three weeks and now i'm actually really worried. I read through possible side effects but it's not listed there. I also googled it but nothing showed up. So i'm wondering if it's possible this might be caused by the antibiotics or because of something completely different? I'm definitely not pregnant. I know i should contact a doctor but the waiting time is around two weeks here anyway so i figured i'd ask here first. I'm pretty worried so any input is appreciated!!

Hi, did you find out if it was the Lymecycline that was affecting your period? I™m in exactly the same situation and have been taking it for about 2 weeks. It™s weird that it is not listed as a side-effect online but a few people seem to be discussing it on forums :/

Hi, I thought I might add to this comment section, Ive been on lymecycline for months and my period is extremely irregular. I wonder if its linked, Ive been to the doctors and they have no idea what the problem is Im starting to wonder if its the meds.

Hey, there's a chance those antibiotics could be messing with your cycle, although it's not super common. Stress can also throw things off. Just keep tabs on it for now.

Hi! I'ven taking one pill of Tetralysal 300 mg (Limecyclyne) a day since 5 weeks ago and my period is late for 8 days. Is there any relationship between the lack of period and the intake of that kind of antibiotics?

I've read that antibiotics don't affect the menstrual cycle 🙁

this is my 2 cent, I dont think its the lymecycline, but it could be due to the underlying reason why youre having acne anyways which is hormones imbalance, which can result in irregular periods.
