Doxycycline after Accutane

Hi,

I completed accutane last week 80mg after four month course. I was prescribed doxycycline yesterday (200mg per day for a week) for a different matter. My doctor is aware that I only recently stopped accutane.

Is it okay to stop accutane and start doxycycline?

What do you think?

Just to clarify, I have been off Accutane for seven days.

I think it is important to try and recover from accutane first before taking a strong antibiotic or even a tropical.
80 mg is a high dose - what were your sides?
