Hi, today I went to the dermatologist for the first time asking to be put on accutane. My GP said he most likely wouldn't prescribe it to me because my acne isn't severe enough. 5 minutes into the visit, he offered me the prescription. I'm worried because he only looked over a general info form I filled out 10 minutes before, and he didn't explain the side effects or anything. It's a very reputable clinic, I just felt like he didn't consider my personal situation and explain to me what I should know, even though I've done my research. Would anyone suggest I consult another derm?
