Hey guys,
I've been on accutane for about 4 and 1/2 months now and am mostly cleared :)
However when I go out in the sun, even just for an hour or two, (no sunscreen) I get really patchy sunburn. As in im red in patches all over my face.
Is this normal?

my dermatologist told me you must not go out in the sun or sunbath whilst on accutane and that sunblock should be worn as the high levels of vitamin a in the drug make your skin very sensitive to sunlight even on a cloudy day.

Make sure you are wearing sun block whilst on accutane. That's probably your answer right there
