Hi jessy1991, thanks for sharing your story with us. I'm not sure what surgery your derm might have in mind but remember that it is still your choice in what treatments you agree to have. I would give yourself a little more time to see if your skin improves further now that your first claravis course is complete. Sometimes people do need a second course....back when I was taking isotretinoin it was a newer drug and the treatment duration was much longer than 5 months but over time doctors have found that lower doses and shorter treatments can work for many people and this can minimise side effects. When you go back to your derm ask her more questions about what your options might be...if you don't like her recommendations you can seek a second opinion...you're in control!

Hello jazz.. Well she say that they will inject multiples shots directly to the area surrounding the cyst if they noticed the inflammation it still there they will drain the abscess by injecting the anesthetic directly to the cyst.. But I am scared I have to go through all that. So your advice really help me I will just wait and see how I respond and if I could get a a second opinion later on ... THANK YOU ALOT FOR TAKING YOUR TIME TO ANS.

Hey Jessy, you're welcome.  I've read on the org of other people having anti-inflammatory injections for single problematic cysts that just won't go away so it's an option in those circumstances and I'm sure you would be in good hands with your derm, but nicer for you if cysts don't form in the first place.  Hope all goes well for you :D
