So I've been on accutane for about one month today, 40mg a day. No side affects so far except extreme dryness pretty much everywhere. Anyways, my skin was pretty bad before I started, I don't have cystic acne but there's a lot of it and it's persistent, I cleared up really well in my first 2 weeks, skin was less discoloured and I would say 80% of my acne was gone. But ever since I hit around the one month mark my skin looks worse then even before, I don't get much breakoutbut when I do get one there large pimples and very painful, I normally would get one of these like once every few months but I have like 6 on my face right now, also my skin is looking very discoloured I almost look sick! I also started breaking out on my shoulders again which has not happened in a long time. I understand initial breakouts are a thing but I find it strange I cleared up so well in the beginning, has anyone else experienced similar affects from accutane, and is this normal.
