Tretinoin but still whiteheads?

Hey everyone. I had a question. I have been using a pea-sized amount of Tretinoin cream 1% on my face each night since November of last year. I also take an antibiotic (Doxycycline 100mg) and have been on birth control for 2 years due to hormonal issues. My acne was caused by Polycystic Ovary Syndrome and I would get very bad breakouts on my jawline, neck, and chin. Now, it's almost completely gone (thank goodness!), but I still have one VERY annoying issue. I still get whiteheads on my chin! I consulted with a friend who has been on Tretinoin cream for about as long as I have, and she told told me it was "weird" for me to still get whiteheads since she stopped getting any kind of new pimples completely. That's when I started to worry because if she found it "weird" then maybe there's something I'm doing wrong or forgetting to do, or I'm just doomed to get whiteheads there forever no matter what I do. My chin is the only place where I get acne, and it's only whiteheads. I don't put my hands over my chin or touch it with anything dirty like a cell phone or unwashed pillow case. Sometimes it's a "comes and goes" kind of thing, but I've had about 3 little whiteheads for the past few days that have been really persistent. It's really annoying because if it weren't for those darn whiteheads on my chin, my face wouldn't have acne at all anymore, but they still show up and I'm honestly not sure what I'm doing wrong. I'm really worried about this. Please help me if you can? Thank you.

Also a detail I wanted to add is that the whiteheads I'm describing are mainly the "closed" type. They aren't the open ones where you can easily just push the gunk out. In areas where I don't get acne bumps anymore, I still have big pores (like the upper halves of my cheeks). I'm using a gentle foaming cleanser right now and don't want to switch it since most oil control cleansers I've had suggested to me have ingredients I can't use with the Tretinoin, like tea tree oil or salicylic acid. I'm comfortable with the cleanser I'm using now because it doesn't have any harsh ingredients and I feel like it's helped with my face. Also, I don't wear makeup so I know makeup is not what's causing the closed comodones on my chin.
