Hello,
Currently, I'm on my last month of Accutane. I was wondering if anyone has knowledge regarding have the Zoom Whitening treatment while on Accutane. The reason I am concerned is due to the special UV light used during the treatment. I need clarification. Below I listed a QnA listed on a website regarding Zoom. I asked my accutane doctor what was best, and she saidto wait 2 weeks after Accutane was over. She also didn't know what Zoom was before I told her though. She said it in more of a precautionary sense. From what I can tell, I don't think doing these twohand-in-handis such a bad thing. If it was, I'm sure there would be warning s and more publicity regarding this.
"Q. How is exposure to the Zoom! light controlled?
A.The Zoom! procedure requires that all soft tissue in and around the mouth be protected. The clinician is required to monitor the procedure to insure any exposed skin or tissue is isolated and protected. Protective eyewear is required during the procedure. Light sensitive individuals including those undergoing PUVA (Psoralen+UV Radiation) therapy or other photo-chemotherapy, as well as patients with melanoma, should not undergo the Zoom! In-Office procedure. Also patients taking any light sensitive drugs or substances, whether over-the-counter, prescription or homeopathic, should consult their primary physician prior to procedure. Anyone who is not eligible for Zoom! In-Office for these reasons may be an excellent candidate for Zoom! Take-Home."

It's always better to play on the safe side of things, especially regarding stuff like your health (even more so since this is purely a cosmetic procedure I assume; definitely not worth risking any complications).
