Yes unfortunately it deserves cause an 'initial break out'. Retinoids most always do. It's part of the process. Don't worry about it, it will help in the long run I assure you, the first month or two can be very testing to your patience. Are you using it everyday? I would suggest to cut down if you are and use it every third evening for the first few weeks and then every second evening for a couple weeks.
