I googled it but it should say so on the package. Most meds are meant to be left on until you next wash your face to work. Maybe you're using too much.

12 hours is the standard time. So, say you wake up at 7am. Wash your face, apply Acanya. Then at 7pm, wash your face, apply Atralin.
