I was in vietnam and the doctor there never give me any test b4 they give meisotretinoin. They just look and give me 10mg pill and told me to take 2 daily.1st time i took it i was clear for 1 year but i came back.I go to the doctor again she give me the same dose but this time it doesnt work at all. After that i decided to go to another doctor and he give me the exact same amount .So i decided to drink 4 10mg pill instead of 2.Is this harmful in anyway.I dont want to ask my doctor cause i feel like they will give me the same dose and they might not know about themedication very well

I really wouldn't recommend doing that, accutane is pretty dangerous. Many peoples acne returns after the course is over no matter what dose they took.

it depends on the method. I believe its the cumulative dosage at the end of the course that matters...so if you take 20 mg for a few months longer or 40 mg and stop sooner. I'd just monitor how you feel. Its not extremely high at 40mg for your weight but that's good cause high dosages cause bad side effects. I'm just concerned cause its risky changing your meds on your own.
