My advice is to quit and hope your erectile dysfunction goes away! No you are not alone and you can search the board on this subject and the long term side effect thread. Also years ago way back I think early 90's a doctor took Accutane and suffered the same. Good Luck

Thanks for the responses! I will call my dermatologist today, see what he thinks about this. what is the likelyhood of Mild acne coming back after half a course of accutane? Is it dangerous to quit all of a sudden?

No it is not dangerous to quit suddenly like some other meds( you don't have to wean yourself off).
If it was mild it probably won't come back at least not for a few years. Just be glad that's ALL the issues you had. Why did they give it to you for mild acne?

Maybe this is a little blunt, but you have 2 options.....continue Accutane and maybe clear your mild acne or continue with life long sexual dysfunction!!!!!

Let me guess your derm will say has nothing to do with Accutane and never heard of this side effect.....maybe your acne is hormonal???? pm me

Are you sure it's from the accutane? I don't want to dismiss what anyone says or downplay any risks, but Ithink people on these boards tend to bealarmists. You should def talk to your doctor before taking any advice from a message board. If you stay on accutane, I'd ask if it's safe touse ED meds while youre finishing?

Yea exactly, sounds comforting. Well Ive had acne sinds I was like 17 and im 24 now so its been on and off ever since. This was the only way to get rid of it. I tried SO MANY different options. Luckily I quit now anyways

YES I AM 100% POSITIVE its from accutane. Ive waited 1.5week to confirm it. a week and a half ago I experienced this weird half orgasm while having sex. After that its been downhill. Its like ive been swimming in cold water 24/7. Not only that but I cant even get hard thinking about girls anymore. watching porn doesnt even get me hard! I have to physically touch it now in ordor for it to get hard. Thats coming from a guy who gets hard super quick! I remember last saturday While having sex I got flacid! NOT GOOD. I talked to my doctor, everythings fine and I quit!  Thanks 

Thanks for the responses. After talking to my dermatologist I decided to quit! All for the best. This was just too big of a side effect. Way to serious.
I ordered a couple of different supplements to regain my male energy and heal my body again. 

If anyone wants more insight on how this whole experience was, just let me know and I will gladly cover that.
