I have been on Spironolactone 100mg for over 3 months and I have seen little improvement. There was a phase where I thought it was getting better but I'm continuing to break out. I am also on Diane-35 (birth control). I am getting discouraged, I have social anxiety because of my acne and I'm wondering if this med is going to kick in. Thoughts ?? Experiences ?? Thank you

I've read it often takes 3-6 months...for whatever reason many people are slow to respond to hormonal Meds. My doctor gave me antibiotics for the first few months.

I went back to my doctor and she took me off Spironolactone and put me on accutane
