So, I started taking Tetralysal at the beginning of January and I would say that it took around 2-3 months to see any improvement at all - so please don't get dishearted like I did initially any others on this antibiotic! Now It's April so I'm just starting my 4th month of treatment. Initially, I was taking Tetralysal in conjunction with using BP, as my doctor wanted to try and tackle my acne inside and out. I gave the BP around a month to work, but I felt like it was only making my skin worse and worse - It looked much more congested and was incredibly flaky and red. I also felt like it was worsening the appears of red and dark mark from spots so I stopped using it. Within a few days my skin already looked better - perhaps It might have worked had I have given it more time, but with my skin getting progressively worse I felt I had to stop using it.
However, just under two months ago I was also put on Yasmin as I hadn't been seeing quite the results I wanted with Tetralysal alone. Initially, for around the first month or so after starting Yasmin I was getting practically no spots and my super oily skin was considerably less oily! I've just now started to break out a little (as in a few whiteheads around my jaw - which is a little unusual as I never normally break out here, as well as a couple of spots on my forehead, which is my main problem area), however I think that may still be an initial breakout from Yasmin...so I'll wait a little while and fingers crossed I will start to see improvement (:
One thing to note is that I have changed my skin care routine ALOT....I wish initially using the Simple Triple Action face wash, which I had been using for months, but I was starting to notice that it would leave my skin very red and flaky. I tried to find a moisturiser to combat this, but they were all either too rich, irritated my extremely sensitive skin, or caused breakouts...so in the end I ditched the cleanser and switched to Cetaphil Gentle Cleanser, which I think is working so much better (: I am getting a few more spots than usual...but like I said before this may be due to the Yasmin, however I have lost the dry patches and redness from my skin which is definitely more important to me.
This first photo was taken on December 13th 2015, after I broke out badly from trying the Clinique 3 Step Anti-Blemish system :/
This photo is from January 3rd after having just started Tetralysal
This one is from March 11th...as you can see mainly scarring (although the photo quality has been lowered as I uploaded these photos so it doesn't look as prominent as in the actual image)

March 26th, again mainly just marks
Last two, April 6th - slightly red due to having eyebrows threaded - a minor breakout, however this may also be due to that or the IB due to Yasmin. Overall, my skin is soo much better, just these pesky red and dark marks taking a long time to fade! As I said before, it's difficult to tell from the quality of the photo as a lot of the marks aren't visible, but I assure you they're there!
