Hi. I'm a 20 year old female.I suffer from upper backacne which has nearly destroyed the entire region with scars. Its been two years I think. The acne is on and off. But the major chunk of the issue is the scarring. Circular ugly scars. I get facial acne often but the scarring on face is there, more like pores across cheeks but not very extensive.

I finally decided to suck it up and went to a dermatologist and came back with 8 different capsules and creams. I spoke to the doctor at length about any side effects but he said there weren't any. I looked up online and few of the medications raised a red flag for me because a lot of medications that are banned in let's say USA, UK or other nations are easily available in India. I would truly appreciate any opinions on the medications I've been prescribed as a 10 day course. Just the vast amount of medications I've been asked to ingest is sorta suspicious.

List :
Acne Treat Cream (Tretinoin Cream) - Night

Clintra Gel (Clindamycn Phosphte Gel) - Morning

Vathro 500 (Azithromycin Tablets 500mg) - 1 Noon

Biotrip 20 mg (Isotretinoin Soft Geltatin Capsules) - 1 every alternate day (This is another form of accutane I guess)

Dapsone - 1 noon

Nimace (Nimesulide Tablets) - 1/2 morning and evening

Nidze Capules (Antioxidant Softgel Capsules) - 1 evening

Hey there! Okay I am going to honestly tell you I have never heard of anybody adding this much treatment on top of Isotretenoin (Accutane). From my own research and relationship with doctors, Accutane is supposed to be an isolated treatment. However, many people are on antibiotics or even an anti-inflammatory while starting (like your Vathro and Dapsone). I would really really recommend maybe seeing another dermatologist if possible! I think this is abnormal and I have never heard of a 10-day course of really any acne medication; that doesn't seem like enough time for any of those meds to work. Are you going back to this derm in 10 days?
