20 days after accutane breakout?

Hi guys I finished my 6 month course of accutane 20 days ago and had clear skin except red marks. Now I noticed a few medium sized spots on my forehead and cheek aswell as a cyst on my head. Is it normal for a small breakout once stopping treatment or how can I minimise this. I have been using emu oil at night on red marks and moisturising..
all help is appreciated as I'm very worried!

Ps I have like 10 small red spots with no puss on my cheeks in the same area as I used to have acne...

Yes breakouts are normal, but it should subside. Use benzoyl peroxide wash, or cream, hopefully it doesn't bother you.
I don't know what emu oil is but sounds disgusting, lol.

The issue is that there are many spots but they do not have a whitehead... Just red lumps most quite small although I felt one big one emerge today! I hope this subsides I think it's accutane coming out of my system so my skin is readjusting

You can go back on the accutane, in my opinion you should go back on it and your Dermatologist will probably agree. You are not supposed to break out 20 days after ending it especially not with a cyst. Your cumalative dose was not high enough. Just go back on it unless you feel like the side effects are too harsh.

My post-accutane breakout consisted of one nodule. This sounds like a lot. I think a visit to your dermatologist is the best thing to do. If you've never tried the regimen, that's always a good option as well. Good luck!
