Hi. I understand that a lot of people who clear up often just leave these boards but I wanted to come back and tell you all that I took Accutane for 9 months and tookmy last Accutane pill on June 10th 2015, and as of today I am acne free! I had acne on my face, back and chest. I had everything. cystic acne, blackheads and whiteheads. It cleared it all. everything. I must say though, that it tookawhile.I only really started to clear up six months in (in March 2015.. started Accutane Spet 2014) but by my last pill my face acne was gone and the month following my chest and back cleared up.

I must say though, because accutane dries up your skin, I've developed some keratosis pilaris (chicken skin) on my arms and a bit on my face. Also developed a pyogenic granuloma on my chest that needed to be removed.

I would 100% do Accutane all over again though and I recommend it to anyone struggling with the decision to start it! If you're worried about side affects, take a lower dose over a longer period of time! Anyway, just want you all to know that accutane DOES work don't give up!
