I have had mild to sometimes moderate acne on both inner cheeks, mostly on the right. I have recently started to get spots on my chin which I never used to have. I am 19 now and my acne started at the age of 13. I have tried many topical creams and mynocycline. I am now on a 3 month course of Lymacycline with differin. I was just wondering, if this actually works, will it only keep spots away while I am taking the pills or will the spots come back after I come off the pills? Is RoAccutane the only solution for that?
I am on Lymecycline and Duac. I just started a week ago. I am hoping that it will work and that i don't have to take Accutane or even take those antibiotics again. But we won't know. After reading tons of stories on this forum, it looks like antibiotics and sometimes, even Accutane is not a permanent solution for acne. I have just crossing my fingers and hoping for the best.
