I'm about one week into accutane, and for the first few days my skin was actually looking pretty good. Today, I looked in the mirror after waking up and noticed I have SIX new nodules, all that are very painful and red

 

I'm not sure if this is the initial breakout or not, because I'm not really seeing pustules on my face, just nodules and a few blackheads. I can almost never get rid of nodules and always just make myself put up with them. Even after doing what I read I should do with them, like icing or using benzoyl peroxide, they take soooo long to go away....

 

how do i deal with this? the pain and the redness are killing me...

Oh dear I know where you're coming from. On my 8th day I had 7 pimples and by the 11th day I had 18 in that area with a few on the rest of my face, still there to this day. (I have pics on my log if you want to see how bad it is) I hope they go away soon and I don't put BP on them because it might make my skin super sensitive. We are in for a bumpy ride ( no pun intended )

I'm on my 4th month and am still breaking out... I had a really bad IB It does get better...
