My doctor prescribed me accutane 7 months ago I took it for 4 days but my body hurt a lot it was only 10mg.I went to the doctor after 4 days of taking it and he told me to stop for 2 days and start again to see if my problems were cause of accutane but I was so scared so I didn't take it.its been I month since I started doxycycline. I been on doxycycline on and off since I was 15 it did help but soon as I stopped my acne came backand now I am 20 and still have acne and have lost all of confidence. I don't wanna waste my time taking doxycycline it isn't helping anymore. So my question is that I still have the accutane and they don't expire until 2017 so should I give it another try now that I have been on doxycycline a month????
No, if you want to try accutane you need to get another prescription from your dermatologist. They need to monitor you very close and you will need them to continue filling your prescription. Assuming they only gave you one month of doses that will not be enough to do anything, you will need to be commited to taking the whole coarse for its effects,
