Hi everyone,

I got a letter in the mail from ipledge about not taking my last pregnancy test 30 days post accutane. I'm not sure exactly what it said because it was sent to my permanent address (parent's house) which I don't live at right now.

Long story-

I took a 5 month course of Accutane, with a potential 6 month if needed (didn't need it thankfully). Apparently the receptionist at my dermatologist office scheduled my appointment incorrectly and gave me a card for a different day, so I missed it, couldn't reschedule because they were booked full, called everyday for cancellations, everyone was so rude to me, blah blah blah.

Finally get a call from a nurse telling me my doctor was dropping me for "non compliance" because I missed the appointment. I was fuming from how rude they were to me throughout the whole thing, but at the same time I wasn't planning on doing the 6th month anyway (side- skin is fantastic for the first time in 10 years) so I cut my losses.

SO obviously I didn't take the last pregnancy test because I had no dermatologist anymore (still don't...waiting for an appt with a new one) to even input that into ipledge.

Short story-

Got the letter, etc, tried to contact ipledge but they make it seriously impossible. I know I signed contracts and craziness so BASICALLY has anyone else gone through this and know if this is like a legal issue? Are there any repercussions for not taking a last pregnancy test? I can't find any info about it on the internet. I genuinely don't know what they could be since the only thing they could do before was not allow me to get my next month prescription.

PS I am still infuriated that a month and a half off Accutane I still can't be trusted with my own female body!
