i stopped the clinique products I was using and the daily red marks every am stopped!

coincidence..dont think so

maybe im not at the point yet i can use anything w/ out worrying the products could be causing issues

It has Vit C

Is that Ok on tane

I didnt consider that an active

I only thought of actives as retin-a, bp, sal acid, aha, etc

Im using so little...fear ill break out but last night i had that subtle burning or sensitivity

dont know if its the cream or tane or both

i think my skin needs serious hydration just not sure what to do

My rash/ etc is spreading up beyond my elbow now

lovely..at least it winter..LOL

i may drop down to even 40mg for a mnth or so and let this harsh winter pass

In the NE it has been crazy nippy and more snow reported today

hello guys!

Its week 12! (well, day 86, two days into 13) But i have uploaded some new pics 4 u guys! Some Little things decided to pop in my precious forehead, but ya know, got rid of tthem lol. So my chin has been irritating, but ive left it alone see how that goes. My marks are the big bummer here. Purple spots everywhere!! Ugh. Oh well, rather have those than zits.

Hasnt anyone thought of uploading their own pics? Well, i get it,not everyone is comfortable with posting theur their pics of their acne on the internet haha. Oh well, you guys have a nice day.

silly me though i would take weekly pics to document my progress..but its been a slower than expcted road

I must say my forehead cleared completely and i look pretty nice head on

Just dont try to talk to me on my left or right side...well still have some healing to deal with

My face is tight and still feeling that slight uncomfy ro very slight burning sensation

Not much to report here either. Past my three months mark this weekend, every shower takes ages with all the body lotion and oil, having my own budget for lip balm, getting tired of the red marks, and I'm starting to get a see-through colour on my body - love it

my derm gave me an rx cream if my arms get worse

derm suggest anything? have u tried aquaphor just on that spot?

Derm said to leave it (again she is really anti moisterizure or putting anything on my face while on accutane, the most i have gotten her to say is "if ireally really bothers you put a tiny tiny bit of light moisterizure on" and I did buuut low and behold my skin did not react well (as she predicted" so I've been leaving it.

I remember your derm said no light moisturizer..do u use anything on your face ro just letting it peel

My derm gave me no direction I would rather be tight than broken out so I am using a tiny tiny pea size of moisturizer

some people claim dryness and dehydration causes more breakouts

feel like u cant win!

Arghhh!!! Still some new ones on my red cheek! I'm getting so frustrateeeeeeeeeeeeeeeed!!!!!!!!! I'm starting to think that Tane does not work on me... I'm not even so dry!

I have to admit today I have been feeling like maybe i should have pushed more for spiro....tried bcp first

what if tane doesn't work for me and after this dumb treatment im left with all these battle scars and continue to breakout

I feel like we have tried to be patient (with derp winning the patience of the year award, with no complaints honor)

Okay, first of all I need to tell you guys that I am NOT crazy. Okay, now that that's done:

I woke up today and that brown patch that was really brown, dark and covering almost my entire cheek is GONE. I almost had a heart-attack when I looked in the mirror this morning...I don't know what this medication does to us but it is freaky!.

For those of you keeping up with my posts this patch has been dating back maybe 2-3 weeks and been getting progressively worse..yesterday was the worst day and I even made a new post on this forum to see if anybody else had it happen...I asked my derm about it last time I was there and she said it was severe dryness,..It got way worse since that visit.

IT IS GONE.

I am almost as freaked out as I am happy....

Haha, try telling that to someone else who is not on this med, and they will probably look at you in a different way forever... .

why oh why am I getting these little tiny red pesky marks

I have about 3-4 on my face and some on my arms

I am also FIRE ENGINE red!

Im only taking 50mg as my eyes have been getting a little red and sticky and I just dont want anymore problems since it has been so cold/forced heat all day

tane sucks...Im waiting for my pore less porcelain skin

Ok guys, just passed week 13, i started using my 2.5% benzoyl peroxide ointment to like flake the areas with marks in order for them to fade a little. Lol dont know how this is going to work out

Im no expert but from what I understand (hopefully someone else can chime in) but BP isnt used to fade red mark..it actually might make them worse because it could dry the area out

I spot with BP on active pimples etc

especially on darker skin it can make the area look worse

I think the dumb red marks stink..best thing is to moisturize and/or to use something that will gently exfoliate

BUT not sure what the skin can tolerate at this point on tane (for ex. glycolic acid etc)
