I feel like im not being treated right by my dermatologist and that its just getting worse and worse and scarring my face. I want to be on Accutane but I cant...not right now till I get psychiatric clearance. Im using a benzoyl peroxide wash, erythromycin antibiotics, and ziana on my skin. Today its soo inflamed from the wash. my skin is breaking out in cysts and pustules that connect to each other....im wondering if topicals and ziana can really clear this...I feel it cant and is just making it soo much worse. I don't know what to do anymore....I don't know if this is cystic acne or folliculitis ...a lot of the bumps have pus in them that break after a day and then make a new one...connecting leaving soo much hyperpigmentation....I don't know what to do
Hi ive just posted with the same condition. The only thing that stopped it was prednisone (oral steroid) my cysts went away in a few days. It was amazing. go to your gp and explain you are waiting for the acutane. Or ask the derm. I might add that I was first prescribed with a topical erythromycin cream that caused the horrific cystic outbreak on the left side of my face that was clear before hand. I found that benzac 10 is the only cream that actually works. And it works well.
