Hi, this is my first post so I don't really know what I'm doing lol. I'm 14 and I just got prescribed Epiduo by my dr today. I was actually on it two years ago for a short time but I stopped because my face was burning and peeling so bad.

My face isn't really bad, I get the occasional pimple or two on my cheeks/chin. My nose has tons of blackheads, though, and my forehead has a lot of little bumps that you can only see up close (but they're still visible sometimes).

How bad will the "initial breakout" stage be? I start school on August 22nd and I reeaaalllyy want my face to be clear and free of burning and peeling by then. I'm starting Epiduo soon as I can (within a few days) but I'm rely scared about breaking out really badly. Will it be worth it in the long run even though my face isn't that bad?

Retinoids need at LEAST 3 months to begin to show improvement if they work for you. During that three months your skin can purge to high heaven or not. Most people are not showing improvement before that time frame.
