I've been on 60mg a day, I started at 30mg my first month, my derm up'd the dosage on the second and third to 60mg.

I was doing completely fine the other day, then I just had a break out. A large cyst right near my ear (looks horrible and hurts really bad) Plus a bunch on my back.

They came out of no where! I am less than a week away from finishing my 3rd month and starting my 4th. My derm said that I will only be doing a 5 month course (So only 2 left to go).

Is this normal to be getting cystic breakouts half way through the course? I really want to be done with cysts... and put this all behind me but i'm scared they will all continue to come back.

help?

As a side note: I used to have horrible dry skin, but recently (last 2-3 weeks) my dryness has gone away, I don't even put moisturizer on anymore because there is no reason to. My lips still get chapped a lot, but that's it. I am thinking that my body is getting used to the accutane and possibly compensating for it somehow thus reducing the effectiveness of accutane.
