I was prescribed 2 medications a month ago but didn't get the medication until now due to health insurance delays.

1) Clindamycin Phosphate and Benzoyl Peroxide Gel, 1%/5%

2) Tretinoin Cream, 0.05%

Can I mix both Tretinoin and Clindamycin Phosphate w/ Benzoyl Peroxide Gel? Which one should I apply morning and night? Do I just apply only in the affected areas or do I apply evenly on my face?

I am using these products and I use Duac(Clindamycin Phosphate with Benzoyl Peroxide) in the morning and Retin a at night! I apply all over. You may want to start out slowly because it can be drying!

I would actually do the reverse, BP at night, then it won't bleach your clothes, it will just bleach the pillow and blankets....

And yes you have to be careful of the sun with the retin a during the day, but that is just common sense

Yeah you shouldn't use them together because benzoyl peroxide deactivates tretinoin.

Despite the bleaching it's best to use the clinda/BP in the morning, and the tretinoin at night. In addition to tretinoin causing sensitivity, tretinoin is deactivated by UV rays, so it's best to use at night.

Thanks for the replies. Do I apply both evenly throughout my face or only to affected areas?
