This is my first day on acne.org so if I'm positing this in the wrong area I'm sorry.
I have super clogged skin that NOTHING works on.
It started in high school around my chin, tiny tiny bumps that were only visible in some lighting and now 5 years later it has spread almost to all of my face and the clogged are bigger in size and are visible in every light.
I am currently on Differin and Azelaic acid but its been a month and i still see no improvement.
In the picture i am wearing no makeup and as you can see i have irritation redness from exfoliating my face and old acne hyper pigmentation but the issue i care about most are all the little bumps that are visible and ruin the texture of my skin.
What i do and i believe is working is hyseac K18 which has 18% aha but on its own didn't help, the local equivalent of duac-5% b.p. which also didn't prevent all of them and my latest addition is the baby brush method - exfoliating with a such a gentle brush isn't supposed to hurt the skin and removes dead cells very well. I use b.p. at night, aha during the day and every time i shower and hot water softens the skin i exfoliate with the brush. After that i use aha just in case.. And don't forget to wash the brush, i use alcohol before and after each use. Here is the result of another user that actually convinced me to give it a try
there is an even better photo that doesn't have an url
I hope that this combination will help..
