Bactrim cleared me 100%, it was a life savor while I was on it but a week after stopping it I broke out like I did before I used Bactrim. I tried to get my derm to prescribe it again but he wouldn't lol

Im currently back on it, after a 3 year hiatus due to an explosive cystic breakout last year and it has been keeping the giants at bay. Nothing last forever unfortunately

Bactrim will wipe out all the bacteria so of course it works great while you take it. Antibiotics are never a cure though, they help get your skin under control. You need a skin care regimen to stay clear.

So you think if I'm sticking to my regimen once I am clear I could stay clear?

I wash with cetephil 2 times a day

Spot treat with either clindamycin/benzoyle peroxide or acne free exterminator(witch is benzoyle peroxide)

I moisturizer where needed with cetephil moisturizer

I also started taking saw palmetto, spearmint tea and I'm considering zinc.

Any thoughts

One more question. Is it possible once the testosterone pellets (I had these inserted in my hip) wears off I may no longer have hormonal acne or am I doomed?
