I was perscribed tretinoin cream .05% to help with my oily skin and the problems that come with it, clogged pores, white heads, blackheads, and the list goes on and on, but although it helped clear acne scars a bit faster it did nothing for the latter and only made matters worse in the longterm. My dermatologist said it takes a year to see any results but the results I got were increased sensitivity not only to the sun, even if I'm out for just 10 min without SPF50+, but to every other product on my face that wasn't basic and 100% natural. I recently stopped using it and it seems like my clogged pores are actually becoming smaller without the use of this cream. Honestly I wouldn't recommend this product to anyone! I'm now sticking to a more basic approach. I've learned the hard way, less is more and all I can really do is let nature do it's thing and be more accepting of my face, I hope this helped shed some light to anybody.
I was prescribed tretinoin cream .025 and used it for 1 week. I never had oily skin ever and after the first day of using this my face has become soooooooo oily. Hour after I wash my face and it is super oily again. Been a month since I used it and I'm still getting oily as hell! Is the oil production ever gonna go back to normal??? The oil is starting to be more of a burden than all the acne.
