So I started around May 30th, and my last tablet was June 28th I believe. I got my blood test and it showed elevated liver enzymes. So I was told to stay off of it for 3 weeks and my latest blood test was yesterday. I probably won't get results till Monday or Tuesday but it's almost been an entire MONTH on hold (Around July 23, 24)

So will this wait revert my previous progress from my first month?

Possibly. Possibly not. Hard to know.

However, one thing that is almost certain is that Accutane will clear you after 4-6 months if you stay on it.

The most important aspect relating to dose is the cumulative dose of Accutane that you take, i.e. the overall/total amount of Accutane you take during your course.

How much do you weight? What dose are you taking? What is your age?

To minimise the chance of your acne relapsing post-treatment, you should aim for a cumulative dose of 120-150 mg/kg for this course. So if you weigh, say, 50 kg then you should take 6000 - 7500 mg in total. Note that even if you get the ideal cumulative dose of 120-150 mg/kg that doesn't mean that you definitely won't relapse, but it gives you the best chance of remission.

Focus on things you can influence/control: reaching your ideal cumulative dose and keeping your liver enzymes within the normal range.

Good luck!
