On my 3rd month of differin...will be 4 months in 3 days. Skin is actually worse than when I started.I had mild acne when I started, no more than a few large, isolated pustules at a time.
It cleared up some spots in the beginning, but made my cheeks and chin MUCH worse. Rather than large pustules, tiny bumps that look like rashes almost cover my right cheek and 1/2 of my left.Anyone have differin not start working on them until 4 months in? I usually hear 12 weeks for visible results, but I'm not even close to improving and have gotten worse, so I really want to give up...
I used it for 3 months and it didnt work for me after that time so I quit. If you read reviews it doesnt seem to work for many people, if your acne is getting worse then for the sake of scarring its probably time to quit slowly lower the dosage though, dont suddenly stop using it one night, taper it off, use it every other night etc. to avoid a big breakout that can happen if you suddenly halt treatment.
ps your profile pic is perfect
Im also on week 12. The first 2 months I used Epiduo though and this month I used differin .03. I still bet little spots here and there but its much better just a lot of red marks. Are you using .01 or .03? .01 never cleared me completely but .03 does a better job. Do you have pics of your progress? Sometimes that helps you tell if its working.
