I was wondering if it is okay to use Retin-A cream right after stopping accutane. I was on accutane for 2 months but had to stop due to severe side effects, some of which I'm still dealing with at the moment, though it's only been about 2 weeks since I stopped accutane. I started breaking out a lot past few days. Severe cystic pimples. I just wanted to make sure if it's ok to use Retin-A cream right after accutane.
Yes it is. The same day I was taken off accutane my derm told me to start up the retin a that night. Just be careful with it and listen to your skin. If it burns you need to stop. You might need to start doing it once every three days or every 2 how ever your skin reacts to it. You can judge it as you go. I mixed mine half and half with moisturizer.
