I went to myrtle beach while I was on Accutane for a week and I had no problem. I just made sure to use a lot of sunscreen.

I've had experience with long sun exposure (over the weekend), but wearing high SPF sunscreen and a hat worked okay for me. You really have to be careful since you would burn much worse than if you weren't taking accutane, so this is a tough call.
