If any spilled out , sorry im not familiar with accutane pills since I have never taken it, then you might not get the full dose from that one pill, but one pill should not make a difference since the cumulative dosage of accutane over a long course of months is what counts

Nono, none spilled it was just crushed. Imagine a vitamin pill(say zinc) that is sort of crushed but the capsule itself is still intact

Did you buy accutane online or did you get the perscription from your dermotologist? I ask because if you got it online then it may have been tampered with or it could have just gotten smushed while being delivered.

I got it from my dermatologist (who sent it to a kaiser permanent pharmacy). It got smushed only when i tried to take it out. I guess i was a little aggressive? Do you think it could have impacted me?

I am not a dr or pharmacist but I don't think one damaged pill will make a big deal. However make sure you drink it with lots of water. It's gel like inside and you don't want the medicine dissolving in the esophagus and causing irritation. You need to make sure you've swallowed enough water to make sure pill reaches and dissolves in the stomach.

Sometimes when I'm try to take the pill from out from the package I push down to hard and it makes an indent in the pill. So you may have done that.

But, to answer your question, no I don't think one smushed pill is going to hurt you. Try opening the package lightly next time, and if you find another damanged one

speak to your pharmacy. If you ever have any questions about your pills being damaged, or not receiving enough etc. talk to your pharmacist!

read the packet inside the medication box it usually says whether you should swallow whole or not to swallow crushed drugs etc. I dont know about accutane. I take an extended release med (glucophage) and it says not to crush it. I think you will be ok.
