I've been taking almost a week now, and my contacts are fine! I have heard that it may take awhile for the real dryness to kick in, though. Only my lips are a tad dry so far! I think it also has something to do with the dosage you're taking.

Over 6 weeks in, no issue with my contacts. I bought eye drops before I started preemptively as I expected to have dry eyes but haven't had to use them yet. That being said I'm only on a low dose, 40mg. I think you should be fine, I also researched this side effect and only a few people on higher dosages got it and many managed it with eye drops and less wear.

Thanks so much for your replies! Not being able to wear my contacts and hair loss are the biggest non-severe side effects I'm concerned about. Hopefully I will tolerate it as well as you guys are! Best of luck to you.
