I've nearly done 5 months of accutane and it is my second course my face is about 90% clear (touch wood) just a few marks though. I'm really scared my acne will come back again as soon as i have stopped taking the medication. I weigh 45kg and was on 25mg month 1, and 40mg rest of course...what should i say to my derm? Last week i got a huge cyst on my cheek! I totally freaked out....I just want a clear face 
Over the years I've read here that many many members respond better to topicals after Accutane. Perhaps you may need to use a topical as preventative maintenance. That's something you could discuss with the doc. I know it kinda sucks having to still use a product, but hey, it's better than dealing with full blown acne! Good luck.
