I had a similar condition -- many clogged pores on my nose that made it look and feel very bumpy and gross. I'm not sure if it was necessarily as inflamed as the OP pic, but I definitely had a lot of blackheads.
However, I have been using Ziana gel (Clindamycin/Tretinoin) for about a month and one of the best pros so far is the improvement of my nose. My nose is smooth, shiny (in a good way), no clogged pores, no pimples, and it has been that way since a couple weeks in... my cheeks right now are another story, but Ziana absolutely fixed up my nose situation.
Honestly, with all due respect, I think you're fixating on an issue that is fairly minute. Accutane is for severe acne. Clogged nose pores can be removed with a pore strip. Maybe there's a larger issue here I'm not getting (I'm really trying NOT to be rude!) but I don't think taking a heavy-duty medication like Accutane is necessary. I guarantee you that unless you have a boil the size of a pea on the tip of your nose, no one is looking at your nose and thinking "Ew, gross."
This is the exact same problem with my skin as in pic,in fact I think mine is slightly worse, I have my first appointment with a dermatoligist next week, bit worried he will just send me away with no help as I was also going to ask if I could go on low dose accutane.
Will let you know how I get on.
Been around a month no improvement gonna start 1x 20 mg every other day for a month to see how that goes
Hey man, I only just saw you posted in this thread! Good luck with accutane, keep us updated if you can!

It is fairly minute compared to cystic acne. But Accutane seems to be the only thing on the planet that can get rid of the problem. That in itself is a bit strange, if you ask me, but there you go.
Using a cream would be pointless for me, seeing as it wouldn't stop oil production and it would make my skin even more sensitive to the skin. And sadly, pore strips are pretty much useless as well.

Did accutane work for you?
